Kia Brings on The Borrego
Just out in Washington State where Kia introduced the Borrego--their first mid-sized SUV. What, you say? Hey, they didn't know that the market was going to change so rapidly. But, to their credit, the Borrego V8 that I tested had lots of juice and was easy to maneuver. The interior uses a variety of interesting textured materials. Summer in The City
It's been hitting almost 100 degrees here for the past few days so everything is slow..even my computer. Today is in the HUMID high 80's -slight breeze. Truly, that's all I have to report on--I think my brain is too heavy to be creative.

Life in The Big Apple
It's wonderful to be landed at home for a bunch of weeks. I'm grounded! But getting motivated to write is harder--I find airplanes are the perfect office. There's no distractions, dinners to cook, dogs to feed, apts to clean and no phones to answer.

Ok, aside from that, my sweet poodle Jack got attacked by a huge dog and has been in and out of the hospital for 2 weeks with mega bites. It's so sad when your family is not well.

Signing off for now. Check out my blogs at uptownlife.net!

People talk about car "enthusiasts." Holly Reich knows that an "enthusiast" is anyone parting with thousands of dollars to buy a new car or truck. She takes them, their families, and their purchases seriously. Her's is common sense automotive writing, the kind that most "enthusiasts" with real-world problems care about. I use her as my personal reality check.
